Optimize retention and productivity of valued employees.
Identify action steps to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Properly conducted employee surveys can help companies: improve engagement relationships; increase confidence that talent will stay; improve productivity; reduce human capital expense; verify human capital investments as necessary and providing value; and reduce the risks associated with employee dissatisfaction, including the commission of fraudulent or other unethical or illegal behavior.
- Objective 1: Optimize retention and productivity of valued employees through understanding and responding to employee preferences, expectations, and intents.
- Objective 2: Identify action steps necessary to increase productivity and reduce costs.
The Work Institute recommends a Baseline and Pulse methodology. We establish a baseline with the employee population and then continue to provide updated intelligence to the company based on a random sample of employees, usually monthly or quarterly. Through these incremental measures, employee preferences, expectations, and intents are tracked over time, problems are identified so appropriate steps can be taken to correct them, and the effectiveness of those steps in reducing or eliminating problems and increasing satisfaction are evaluated based on changes over time.
The Work Institute gathers information from employees in areas such as employees’ likelihood of leaving, overall job satisfaction, and the likelihood of recommending the company as a place to work. Our employee surveys include Retention Surveys, Employer Engagement Surveys, and Employer Commitment Surveys.
